Jason Gootman and Will Kirousis operate Tri-Hard Endurance Sports Coaching ("Tri-Hard" for short). We have a deep passion for endurance sports and it is our goal to bring that passion, combined with our knowledge and experience, to you! 

We are dedicated to providing world-class coaching and education services for endurance athletes including triathletes, duathletes, road cyclists, mountain bike racers, and runners. We assist endurance athletes of all ages and all ability levels from beginner to professional in working towards and reaching their personal goals. Through expert guidance and superior service, we aim to create the most constructive and enjoyable athletic experience, both physically and mentally, for each athlete or group of athletes with whom we work. 

We accomplish this goal through:

  • Coaching -- We coach endurance athletes through our personalized coaching services.

  • Speaking -- We present custom seminars for endurance sports clubs/teams and other organizations.

  • Writing -- We write articles for internationally acclaimed journals, magazines, and websites covering endurance sports topics.

Congratulations to Tri-Hard athlete Nick Illsley of Kittery, Maine for his 5:21 finish (62-minute PR) of the Pumpkinman Half-Iron-Distance Triathlon!


Congratulations to Tri-Hard athlete Nadine Mueller of Spruce Grove, Alberta, Canada for her 1:47 finish (1st-place overall women, 1st-place 30-39 women) of the 5 Peaks Trail Half-Marathon and for her 3:09 finish (9th-place overall women, 1st-place 30-34 women, qualified for the Xterra World Championship) at the Canadian Xterra National Championship! 


Congratulations to Tri-Hard athlete Jason Smith of Salem, N.H. for his 1:53 finish (5th-place overall men, 3rd-place 35-39 men) of the Lowell Triathlon, for his 2:12 finish (two-minute PR) of the USA Triathlon Age-Group National Championship Olympic-Distance Triathlon, for his 1:07 finish (7th-place overall men, 1st-place 35-39 men) of the Pumpkinman Sprint-Distance Triathlon, and for his 1:06 finish (8th-place overall men, 3rd-place 35-39 men) of the Wallis Sands Sprint-Distance Triathlon!

Congratulations to Tri-Hard athlete Gered Dunne of White River Junction, Vt. for his 1:58 finish (8th-place overall men, 8th-place pro men) of the USA Triathlon Elite Duathlon National Championship and for his 2:37 finish (14th-place pro men, his first off-road triathlon) of Xterra Richmond!

Congratulations to Tri-Hard athlete Mike Klonsky of Lynnfield, Mass. for his 1:18 finish (4th-place 50-54 men, 13-minute course PR) of the Timberman Sprint-Distance Triathlon!
