Welcome to the website of Tri-Hard Endurance Sports Coaching!

Jason Gootman and Will Kirousis operate Tri-Hard Endurance Sports Coaching ("Tri-Hard" for short). We have a deep passion for endurance sports and it is our goal to bring that passion, combined with our knowledge and experience, to you! 

We are dedicated to providing world-class coaching and education services for endurance athletes including triathletes, duathletes, road cyclists, mountain bike racers, and runners. We assist endurance athletes of all ages and all ability levels from beginner to professional in working towards and reaching their personal goals. Through expert guidance and superior service, we aim to create the most constructive and enjoyable athletic experience, both physically and mentally, for each athlete or group of athletes with whom we work. 

We accomplish this goal through:

  • Coaching -- We coach endurance athletes through our personalized coaching services.

  • Speaking -- We present custom seminars for endurance sports clubs/teams and other organizations.

  • Writing -- We write articles for internationally acclaimed journals, magazines, and websites covering endurance sports topics.

Tri-Hard News -- July 2009

Congratulations to Tri-Hard athlete Karen Zunti of South Yarmouth, Mass. for her selection to the Canadian Long Course Duathlon World Championships Team for 2009! 

Congratulations to Tri-Hard athlete Robin Cain of Boxford, Mass. for being named a USA Triathlon All-American in the 40-44 age group (she was ranked 9th of 1,815 athletes in her age group)!  

Congratulations to Tri-Hard athlete Mike Morgan of Sacramento, Calif. for his 5:10 finish (18-minute PR) of the Wildflower ½ Ironman and for his 10:48 finish (19-minute PR) of Ironman Coeur d’Alene! 

Congratulations to Tri-Hard athlete Emily Brock o Columbia, S.C. for her 1st-place overall women’s finish at the 6 Hours of Tsali Trails Mountain Bike Race and for 10:15 finish (8th-place overall women) of the Mohican 100 stop on the National Ultra Endurance Series!

Congratulations to Tri-Hard athlete Brett Nichols of Brookline, Mass. for his 2:07 finish (3rd-place overall men) of the Keuka Lake Olympic-Distance Triathlon and for his 2:00 finish of the Mossman Olympic-Distance Triathlon (3rd-place overall men)!

Congratulations to Tri-Hard athlete Susan Dupuis of South Boston, Mass. for her 1:20 finish (7th-place 35-39 women, her first triathlon) of the Webster Lake Sprint-Distance Triathlon and for her 1:42 finish (6th-place 35-39 women) at the Holliston Sprint-Distance Triathlon!

Congratulations to Tri-Hard athlete Tricia Weston of Newton, Mass. for her 5:32 finish (4th-place 40-44 women) at the St. Croix ½ Ironman!

Congratulations to Tri-Hard athlete Gered Dunne of Brookline, Mass. for his 2:13 finish (13th-place overall men, 5th-place 25-29 men,) of the Keuka Lake Olympic-Distance Triathlon and for his 2:10 finish (13th-place overall men, 2nd-place 25-29 men) of the Mossman Olympic-Distance Triathlon!

Congratulations to Tri-Hard athlete Ryan Tuttle of New Bern, N.C. for his performance at the South Carolina Omnium Road Race (1st-place pro/cat 2 in the time trial, 14th-place pro/cat 2 in the criterium, 2nd-place pro/cat 2 in the road race which yielded 1st-place overall for the Omnium)!


We are proud to be sponsoring the Rushton Sports triathlon series in 2009. They're one of the oldest triathlon series' in the country, having put on great races in Vermont since 1991! Check out their new website www.rushtonsports.com.   

We are proud to be continuing sponsoring several great local endurance-sports teams into 2009. We feel great to be building nice long-term collaborations with these fine teams! We are sponsoring the AIMTRITEAM, the Bay State Triathlon Team, the Providence Triathlon Team, Team Bikesenjava, Team Envision, Team Mercury Multisport, Team Rhode Island, TriFury, the Wheelworks Multisport Team, and the Competitive Edge Masters Racing Team. Congratulations to Tri-Hard athlete Tom Paquette of Waltham, Mass. for his 2:05 finish (4th-place 65-69 men) at the Nautica South Beach Sprint-Distance Triathlon!  


We are happy to announce our partnership with the American Cancer Society’s Charity Runner Program. We are proud to be their official training partner for triathlons.
